Instacart
Instacart cuts long receipts short in email, and the link those emails carry has since been retired — it 404s for every order. Signing in here lets Spoon & Ledger read the missing items straight from your order history instead.
Session
not signed in- Open the sign-in window below — it's a real browser, and takes a few seconds to start.
- Sign in to Instacart in that window. Spoon & Ledger never sees your password — you type it into Instacart's own page.
- Come back and press Save.
What gets stored
Your password is never stored, sent anywhere, or seen by Spoon & Ledger — it is typed into Instacart's own page in a real browser window.
The session itself lives in the browser profile at ~/Library/Application Support/larder/, outside this project. Spoon & Ledger reads your order history by driving that profile, so it does not copy the cookies into larder.db — the database records only that a sign-in was verified, and when.
That profile is account access, not just read access — anyone who can read it could use it to place an order. “Forget this session” deletes it.
Sessions expire. When one does, a fetch will say so and clear it, and you sign in again.
